Join Caroline Hall in her studio and art gallery in the heart of Winchester. Caroline graduated in Visual Arts with a first class honours degree and completed a Masters in Painting in 2007. An incredibly talented and highly celebrated painter with a record of multiple exhibitions both in London and across the country.
“I am an explorer; interested in, and inspired by many things. A restless artist, I have a fundamental desire to find new ways of expressing myself with each and every subject that I paint. I paint on many different surfaces, aluminium, canvas, board and each surface and subject encourages a different approach. I am by nature an abstract artist, inspired by landscape and in love with colour. My best work comes from a carefully chosen and mixed colour palette, not one that comes directly from the tube. An understanding of colour relationships is a fundamental part of my practice.”
During your day with Caroline your work will be focused on the exploration of colour mixing, applying paint with brush and palette knife and producing a painting responding to music.
