Description
Join Caroline Banks in her London studio to discover expressive mark-making through movement.
Caroline is an internationally exhibited artist fascinated by the circularity of energy and the nature
of time and memory. Her work is commissioned and held in private and corporate collections internationally, including
Claridge’s, Raffles the Old War Office London and the Berkeley Group.
The session will begin with a brief introduction to Caroline’s practice. Quick warm-up and breathing
exercises, part of the studio ritual are followed by a series of observational drawings. The rest of
the day will be spent developing these initial drawings using the entire body to make expressive
marks with a range of materials.
