Description

Designed to give you a taste of a day in the life of an artist and the processes involved. This will consist of a day in the studio, starting with an informal talk of previous work and concepts. You will be guided around the studio to see works in progress and shown various techniques of making and drawing. After lunch you will be invited to take part in an exploratory installation to investigate spatial structure, material and construction. The materials used will be clean, easily manipulated and are likely to consist of thread, cable, Perspex, glass and light projections. This may vary depending on current works in progress. The installation exploration will take place in the studio and give you an opportunity to play with space in the same way as a professional artist.
