Award-winning artist, Susan Clare, will explore with you a variety of mixed media painting techniques and guide you to create your very own, nature-inspired work of art.
Expand your artistic horizons and your painting skills during this full day, private art experience held in Hadleigh, Essex. Susan is a professional, award-winning, international artist, with over twenty years’ experience of painting and tutoring in watercolours, acrylics and mixed media. Her inspiration comes from the natural world and focusses on shapes, colours and creating atmosphere through ambiguity. You will be able to choose your preferred medium and nature-inspired subject matter. Your day with Susan will include some cutting edge, explorative techniques, not usually covered in her regular workshops, making your private painting class unique.
Your painting experience takes place at Susan Clare’s upstairs studio, located in the Hadleigh Old Fire Station, Hadleigh, Essex. During the morning, together, you will cover inspiration sources, sketchbook uses, you will explore new techniques and innovative materials and prepare your own painting. You will enjoy a light, healthy lunch midway through your day. Your afternoon of artistic fun and guidance will see you completing your painting. At the end of the day, your masterpiece will be wrapped and prepared for you to take home for friends and family to admire.
